Women are definitely the backbone of our botanicals and homewares shop on Banstead High Street. In a huge leap of faith, Alison - our founder - made a major career change from pharmaceuticals to flowers when she took over the shop 10 years ago! Since then, Alison has cultivated a wildly talented team at Mad Lilies. Women who make a huge contribution in the shop everyday, creating stunning floral designs, styling unique homewares and helping our much loved customers!

This year we have chosen the World Association of Girl Guides & Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) as our IWD charity of 2023. For more than 100 years Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting has transformed the lives of girls and young women worldwide, supporting and empowering them to achieve their fullest potential, through their programmes of innovative non-formal education, leadership development, advocacy and community action.

You can read a lot more about these programmes and other activities on the WAGGGS website, but in the meantime for every Bouquet, Gift Voucher and Mad Lilies scented candle purchased on or for delivery on Wednesday 08th, we'll donate £1 to WAGGGS in the name of everyone who believes in the ongoing education and empowerment girls and young women around the world.
